Funtastic Playtorium

So dirty! It’s been 4-5 months since we’ve been here and what strikes you when you walk in is a horrible musty odor (despite the air freshener they installed at the entrance). All the toys/structures have a visible grime that wasn’t there before. Also there was visible dirt+old food on the carpet and within the play structure. To top it off- worker went on a smoke break and sat in front of the fan afterwards filling the front area with smoke smell. Also wondering why “flat bottom girls” was the musical choice. The play structure is super fun for my daughter and she loves meeting “friends,” but it was too gross for me. Bummer. I’ve included a before pic of the octopus compared with now :( hope they get a deep clean and add back better cleaning practices

This was an okay exterior my children. But I think the cleanliness can improve a little bit as there are children clearly eating in the toys because there are chip crums and such in the floor. The room is not too big do it also feels a little crowded. My kids loved the octopus. I would not recommend if you have a child who is anxious with people or hypersensitivity to sounds. My oldest refused to move from his seat so we weren't there long but that's not something I consider in the ranking as it's something personal. But I still think cleanliness can improve.

As a parent, this was a fun place to take my kiddos and hang out with a mom friend and her kid. It was a little dusty/dirty, but I noticed a few workers actively cleaning, which is essential to do while kids are playing, as they are messy! The rules are as enforced as I was hoping, but I think this is more on the parents than the staff. The rules clearly state to supervise you children. It’s not a free for all. I noticed many parents hardly paying attention, meanwhile me and couple others desperately trying to see their kids on the top part, which is harder to supervise. Maybe little security cams would help at least for the top portion. I wouldn’t be able to see them usually unless I took a picture or they came back down. The toddler area was clean and my littles used it a bit when smaller kids weren’t, as they are 2. It was great for my low muscle toned girl who needed a break from the big toys sometimes. And fun enough for her twin brother to join her there. Why there was a little tv in that area, I’m not sure, but seemed odd for a toddler area, but I got my kid away from it after a few minutes cuz we came to move! Bathroom is fairly clean, though it would be nice to have a smaller toilet since it is for kids and my kid is potty training. But it didn’t feel like the workers wanted to be there very much. I assume typical high schoolers, but I couldn’t tell if there was a manager also present. Somebody needed to be in charge. I figured it’s just a job for them, but as an educator I would hope to have a little bit more enthusiasm for working with kids.

Oh, I loved the place and the management. I celebrated my daughter's birthday on Jun 2023 there and it was amazing. Callie helped a lot. She organized very well my birthday, and gave me time to decorate it previously to my party. Without hesitation I'll go back there. Thank you Playtorium and Callie for help me to enjoy my daughter's birthday in different way through your help. 😃🤗

At least the last three times we have been here the last year has been a disappointment. The area where you shoot balls out of the cannons, the volcano erupting launcher and the one that carries the balls up to the bucket to drop on everyone does not work. Every time I ask the personal if they can fix it. They say they will get right on it. A hour later, not fixed. Come back months later again and again. Still not fixed. This place brings in alot of money and should be able to maintain there equipment. My kids love this area of the playground to be met with disappointment. At least close it off and give a discount to customers untill fixed. Not fair to pay full price for partial enjoyment of an attraction you are selling. I'll try one last time, let's a say in a month or two. I'll update or delete this review depending on your outcome of repairs. Thanks.
